2004 Malbec – Vinas de Atilio Avena

31 May

This is a young ruby-red wine with intense, purplish undertones. Intense, fresh bouquet is apparent on the nose with red fruits such as cherry and raspberry. Attractive and delicate soft wine with sweet and elegant tannins on the finish.
This wine worked perfectly with a bacon-wrapped fillet and I even spared a bit for a garlic peppercorn wine sauce…

Highly Recommended
